Is the Nova P1 suitable for both cats and dogs?
Yes! Nova P1 is designed for both cats and dogs of various sizes and hair lengths. Whether your pet has long, short, or double-layered fur, the kit comes with multiple grooming heads to meet different coat types and sensitivities.
Will it scare my pet? Is it noisy?
Nova P1 operates at a low 60 dB, which is quieter than a traditional hairdryer or vacuum. Most pets adapt quickly—especially if introduced gradually. Start with the brush function before turning on suction to ease your pet into the routine.
Can I use it on wet fur?
We recommend using Nova P1 on dry fur only. If your pet has just had a bath, allow their fur to towel-dry or air-dry slightly before using the blow-dry or vacuum functions for best results and safety.
How often should I groom my pet with Nova P1?
It depends on your pet's breed and shedding cycle. For heavy shedders, 2–3 times a week is ideal. For others, once a week can keep their coat clean, shiny, and free of tangles or dander.
Does the grooming vacuum collect all the loose fur?
Yes, the vacuum suction is powerful enough (15,000 Pa) to collect most of the loose fur, dirt, and dander during grooming. It helps keep your home cleaner while reducing allergens and shedding.
How do I clean the filters and accessories?
The dustbin and filters are removable and easy to rinse with water. Let them air dry completely before reattaching. Grooming heads can be wiped clean or gently washed depending on usage. We recommend cleaning after every few uses.
Is the clipper blade safe to use? Can it cut the skin?
The clipper blade is designed with pet safety in mind. It comes with protective guards to prevent direct skin contact. As long as you follow instructions and use the proper guard size, it is safe and effective for at-home trims.
Can I use generic clipper guards or replacement parts?
Nova P1 is compatible only with the guards designed for this model. We do not recommend using third-party accessories, as they may not fit properly or could affect performance and safety.
